We call the smallest of our bowls Olive & Caponata. With a diameter of 10 cm, the olive bowl is our smallest bowl. It is ideal for small antipasti such as pickled capers or olives. It can also be used as a bowl for nuts such as hazelnuts, almonds or pistachios - by the way, the best ones grow on Etna in the small town of Bronte. 14 cm in diameter, the caponata bowl is slightly larger. It is versatile and can be used for cantuccini, pickled or fresh tomatoes, cheese cubes or a classic caponata. This sweet and sour vegetable dish is a classic from Sicilian cuisine.
